Privacy Policy
1. Two kinds of personal data
- Your account data — the name, email, mobile number and sign-in records of the people who use a workspace. For this data Bharatam Vinyas decides why and how it is used.
- Data in your workspace — your clients, parties, matters, cases, documents, contacts and messages. Your organisation decides why it is used; we only process it to run the service for you (see the Data Processing Addendum).
2. What we collect about users
- Details given at sign-up and in your profile: name, email, mobile, organisation, role.
- Sign-in and security records: time, device name, IP address, failed attempts, two-step verification status.
- An audit trail of actions in the workspace (who changed what, and when), which your administrators can see.
- Plan and billing details: plan, billing name, GSTIN, invoices and payments.
3. Why we use it
- To create and secure accounts, sign you in and reset passwords.
- To run the service, send service emails (confirmations, trial and plan notices, reminders you set up) and give support.
- To bill for plans and meet tax and legal duties.
- To keep the service safe: preventing abuse, investigating incidents, backups.
We do not sell personal data and do not use workspace data for advertising.
4. Who else handles it
Our hosting provider in India; email delivery; and, only when your workspace connects them, the SMS, WhatsApp Business, email, payment, court-data, calendar or e-sign providers you choose. Each receives only what is needed to do its job. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
5. Where and how long
Data is stored on servers in India and backed up daily. Account data is kept while the account exists and for the period tax and other laws require afterwards. Workspace data is kept until your organisation deletes it or closes the workspace (then 90 days, as in the Terms).
6. Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, encrypted secrets and integration keys, role-based access, optional two-step verification, an audit trail of changes and daily backups with a restore check.
7. Your rights
You can see and correct your profile in the app, and ask us for a copy of your data, its correction or erasure, or to withdraw consent, by writing to support@bharatamvinyas.com. For data inside a workspace, the organisation that runs the workspace answers first; we help it do so. See also the DPDP notice.
8. Grievances
Grievance Officer, Bharatam Vinyas — support@bharatamvinyas.com. We acknowledge a grievance within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
